French Groceries in Taichung

Last night we had the frozen escargot I got from Carrefour. It was delicious. We used a bun and English muffin to sop up the buttery basil sauce. It was only 220 for 24 shells. There were three or four boxes left in the location on Chung-de Road. I will go back soon to pick up another before they are sold out, not that anyone else in Taichung knows about it or cares what it is. Occasionally we find packaged French cuisine in the French owned supermarket but it's almost like it was shipped to Taiwan by mistake. Quiche, spinach-goat cheese buns, egg noodles, gizzards, Provençal duck leg have been snapped up by me before they vanish from Taiwan forever.
