I rode
the bike, on a beautiful warm day, to Feng-yuan to visit my favorite CD store.
I hadn’t been there in months so I stoked. I went wild spending 6951 NT- $210us
on a number of CD’s and DVD’s. Here what I got:
1.
Yngwie Malmsteen – Inspiration
2.
OMD – Sugar Tax, Junk Culture (2 CD’s)
3.
Johnny Cash – Greatest!
4.
Kool & The Gang – Celebration- The
Best of
5.
Mediaeval Baebes- The Best of
6.
Leadbelly – King of the 12-String Guitar
7.
Karl Zero & The Wailers – HiFi
Calypso (CD and DVD)
8.
Cathy Dennis – Into The Skyline
9.
Linda Ronstadt – Boleros Rancheras
10.
Eno – Here Come The Warm Jets
11.
Lightnin’ Hopkins – Blues in my Bottle
12.
An Anthology of Chinese Traditional and Folk
Music Vol. 4
13.
Jackson
Browne – World in Motion
14.
Mario Lanza – 1949-1950
15.
Savage Garden – Truly Madly Completely (CD and
DVD)
16.
Celine Dion – On Ne Change Pas (2 CD’s)
17.
Garfield Gets Real (DVD)
18.
Dumb And Dumber (DVD)
19.
Bangkok Dangerous (DVD)
The nineteen
items averaged 366NT - $11.08 us each, mostly because the DVD’s were 99 NT-$3us
each. The last time I bought this many CD’s was two months ago at the Eslite
clearance sale; they were a lot less expensive then. I spent over two hours in
the store looking around. More than have of the CD’s I chose I returned
unbought. It was a very international mix with one CD item in French, Spanish,
Italian, Caribbean English, a Chinese Gu-zheng instrumental, and one CD sung in
Mediaeval English and Latin!
