Tuesday, April 4
On Tuesday,
we all had brunch at A-Bao and drove up to Big Snow Mountain in the afternoon
and arrived home late in the evening.

The upper road to the park was off-limits so we spent our time at the only hotel in the park eating our picnic lunch on a patio landing.
Inside, I goofed with a manikin at a lumber industry exhibit inside the hotel promenade but outside the hotel Amanda got friendly with a katydid that loved her sleeve.

The beautiful sunset from Big Snow Mountain in the mist.
On the ride down, we spotted a rare Taiwanese pheasant.
In the evening, before heading home, we detoured to a reserve down the mountain to experience a million points of light from fireflies.
